It is an open world first person survival horror action-adventure video game. While Techland developed it, Warner Bros . Interactive Entertainment published it. The story is about an undercover agent, called Kyle Crane. His task is to infiltrate into a quarantine zone in the city known as Harran.

In this game, you must traverse an expansive urban environment where a vicious epidemic is taking control. Also you have to find supplies and craft different weapons. Then you can use them in order to defeat yourself against the infected ones. Dying Light features parkour mechanics that allow you to climb ledges, slide and even jump from roof to roof.

While playing, you will notice the game contains a dynamic day and night cycle. So during the day, you must go out, find supplies and then go back to the safe area. If you want, you can set up a number of traps, too or save random survivors. The infected ones are easy to spot. They are apathetic and moving slow but the number is growing fast. Day time is going to last somewhere between 60-64 minutes. The night time will be about 7 minutes.
