Background[edit]
Digital Extremes publicly announced and began the game's closed alpha on May 23, 2017, under the development codename 'Keystone'.[1] Closed beta began on August 29, 2017.[2] On October 26, 2017, development was 'paused', according to a forum post by a staff member.[3][4] The cancellation of the project and Digital Extremes' decision to refocus on its more successful title Warframe was later attributed in part the commercial failure of LawBreakers and the lack of interest in The Amazing Eternals closed beta.[5]

The Amazing Eternals is a unique free to play hero shooter developed and published by Digital Extremes, the company best known for Warframe. The game differentiates itself from other hero shooters with its unique card system which allows players to customize their eternals to their own playstyle. It's a bit similar to the original card system in Paladins while it was in alpha testing. While the game isn't as fluid as Overwatch or Warframe, it has tremendous potential, provided it can be well balanced and polished up.
